This little museum is an extension of the Museum of visual arts. The collection is located at the second floor of an old neo-colonial house adjacent to it, and it is devoted to the arts and crafts of different indian cultures that inhabit the remote chilean landscapes before the spanish conquest.
In order to achieve a dim light at the interior, we proposed a glass panel with an infill of dry wood sticks. The wicker placed vertically along horizontal glass panels filters light in the same way that a wickerwork basquet would do it. The sticks were placed in simple and direct way, something that will expose in a primitive way the quality of the material.
